THUMBEAST is an AI-powered thumbnail generator built specifically for YouTube creators. In just a few steps you can go from a rough video idea to a scroll-stopping thumbnail.
1. Create your account
Click "Get Started Free" on the homepage. You will be redirected to our secure sign-up page where you can create an account with your email or sign in with Google. Every new account gets 100 free credits (enough for 1 thumbnail generation) — no credit card required.
2. Write a prompt
Once you land on the Generate page, type a description of the thumbnail you want. For example: "A man looking shocked holding a million dollars in cash, cinematic lighting, vibrant colors." The more detail you provide, the better the result.

Use the "Improve" button to let our AI rewrite your prompt into an optimized, production-ready version — completely free.
3. Generate
Press the Send button (or hit Enter). THUMBEAST generates your thumbnail in about 30 seconds. The result appears in the chat view where you can preview it at full size.
4. Download or refine
Happy with the result? Click Download to save a high-resolution PNG. Want changes? You can edit the image with our AI editor, create variations, upscale to higher resolution, or simply generate again with a different prompt.
